Jerry “J5” Wright
Jerry “J5” Wright hails from Warsaw, North Carolina, a small town in eastern NC. He is one of 6 siblings, one being a twin. Before he was an accomplished singer songwriter Jerry “J5” Wright served his country in the Navy. As a young child “J5” loved to experiment with music. His passion for the music carried him not only through his naval years, but through his college years. Post graduating from college “J5” found himself dealing with life issues leaving him homeless and struggling. His faith and his resilience kept him and helped him overcome many obstacles. In 2003 “J5” answered the calling to minister to the masses through teaching and song. Around 2010 “J5” decided to pursue his passion for singing on the national stage. Over the years he has created a magnificent body of work ranging from gospel to folk music and everything else in between.
